Washington, MI – The New Destiny Quartet, is pleased to announce the addition of nineteen-year-old Wes VanWyk as its new tenor. Wes is from Toledo, Ohio and after singing in his local church his whole life is brand new to professional Southern Gospel Music. VanWyk replaces Randy Lewis, who will be singing the Lead with New Destiny on a limited basis when his schedule permits.
Group manager Tom Durham says, "We are absolutely thrilled to have found a wonderful Christian young man to join the New Destiny Quartet. He brings to the group a beautiful, inspiring, natural tenor voice that we know our fans are going to love. Brentwood, TN (Mansion Entertainment) September 7th, 2010 – Zack Swain and Manor House Music will be hosting a CD Release Party at the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Kentucky this year. This will be an evening celebration of the debut Manor House Music release of Zack Swain titled, “Fresh Anointing”.
This new project, recorded at the state of the art Mansion studio in Branson, contains such songs as: ‘We Have Come In To This House, ‘I Am Redeemed’, ‘Lord You’re Holy’, ‘Spirit Of The Living God/Fresh Anointing’, ‘I Wish I Could Have Been There’, ‘New Day Dawning/When I Get Carried Away/ We’ll Soon Be Done With Troubles And Trials’, ‘Jesus Saves’, ‘It Is Well With My Soul’, ‘Something’s Happening’ and a piano duet of ‘Power In The Blood’.

Southern Image Quartet has announced the resignation of Tenor singer Tyler Hudson. Tyler has accepted a position with Men of Music. We wish Tyler the best in his new venture and know that God will continue to use him.
Southern Image is also very excited to announce that a new restructuring of the group is underway. Michi Guess will be filling the vacated spot. Many will remember and recognize Michi from her past days of singing Southern Gospel. She has had a great ministry with her husband Shay, who several years ago had the group “Faith” As many of you know, Shay joined Southern Image back in January. Until recently, Shay and Michi have served as Worship Leaders in a couple of churches, and are now returning to Southern Gospel.
Group spokesman Buddy Tennison stated, “We cannot begin to express how excited we are with this new addition. There are few talents out there as good as Michi. She has a tremendous voice, to go with a testimony that will definitely pull at your heart strings. I have had the honor over the years of singing with Michi, and she never fails to thrill me each time I have that opportunity. Michi has really always been a part of our ministry, although in the background as a vocal coach, advisor, and prayer warrior, and to finally have her as part of the front line is just awesome. Teamed up with husband Shay Guess, they contribute to form a sound that will blow you away. We are very excited about what God has in store for us.”
Southern Image is in the process of reviewing songs for a new project to include Shay and Michi, and hope to have that process completed by the start of the New Year.

Brentwood, TN (Mansion Entertainment) September 7th, 2010 – Manor House Music continues to expand its artist roster with the signing of The Sojourners Quartet to a multiple-project recording agreement.
North Carolina is known for its quartet and mixed quartet contributions to Southern Gospel music. Based out of Elizabeth City, NC, this mixed quartet is already making their mark in Southern Gospel with a Top Ten finish in the 2008 National Quartet Convention Gospel Group Talent Search. Since that time The Sojourners Quartet have two projects under their belt with a third one on the way. Comprised of group members Randy Rowsey (lead), Woodie Kitchen (bass), Gwen Music (tenor) and Richard Toms (baritone) they have already shared the stage with The Anchormen, Brian Free and Assurance, The Hoppers and others. The Sojourners Quartet may be a relatively new name in Southern Gospel but its members bring years of individual music experience to the stage.
Look for a new single from The Sojourners Quartet on the upcoming Mansion Radio Hits Volume 2 due to arrive at radio stations early this fall with plans for their debut Manor Hour Project already in the works. Burlington, NC - Noted singer, songwriter, author and talk show host, Janet Paschal has announced plans to launch a new, daily, two-minute program that will be made available to radio stations throughout the US and Canada. Five years ago, the news that the beloved singer had been diagnosed with breast cancer stunned the Christian music world. Following a year of treatments, Paschal resumed her touring schedule with renewed fervor and passion.
In November, 2008, the gifted writer released her latest literary work, Treasures of the Snow, which chroncles her triumphant battle with cancer. The book is now among the best seller’s list and has brought encouragement to many.
In an effort to provide even more cancer awareness, Paschal teamed with JOY FM’s network of radio stations in the Spring of 2009 to produce a weekly radio program. Walking The Good Road, which airs each Wednesday during the popular Morning Joy Ride, has become a huge success. “When I was journeying through the process of cancer,” Paschal shares, “I found comfort in communicating with others who had faced like challenges. I gleaned from their experiences, and, hopefully, they from mine. With the ever-increasing occurences of cancer among people with whom I worked and met daily, we began to brainstorm for a way to share a message of hope and faith to those who needed it most. In an effort to reach as many ladies and gentlemen as possible, we naturally gravitated toward radio - that wonderfully ubiquitous medium which has been exceedingly gracious to me for more than 30 years.”
On October 4, Paschal takes an even bolder step toward educating, informing and inspiring others with her story and the story of many who have walked through similar struggles, as she launches a daily, two-minute inspirational program for radio. “We will be sharing, daily two-minute segments of interviews with people who know, firsthand, what it means to have ‘cancer’ in their everyday conversation,” Paschal explains. “We will speak with Christian artists, pastors and housewives. We will interview caregivers, sons, daughters and parents of patients. We will meet oncology physicians, nurses, radiologists, exploring the entire gamut of the treatment process. Listeners will hear it first person, from those who are on the journey and who have graciously allowed us to walk alongside them for a short while.”
According to Paschal, five episodes of the daily format of Walking The Good Road will be offered to stations each week; however, those stations have the opportunity to air each episode as frequently as they like. “It is my hope,” Paschal shares, “through this program and the wonderful medium of radio, that we will be privileged to hold up the hands of those who are battling this disease. It is my hope that listeners will be encouraged, inspired and informed, and they will be victorious as they walk their own good road.”
While the concept was originally inspired by Paschal’s battle with cancer, individuals who have served as consultants for the program admit that the messages conveyed by Paschal and her guests offer encouragement and words of wisdom for individuals dealing with any type of struggle. This possibility thrills Paschal. “We all take different roads home. Each of us is heading for the same destination, but we face our own variety of twists and turns and narrow places, as well as a few stretches that are all downhill. My prayer is that each listener will be able to identify in some way with some of the curves and crosswalks during these conversations.”

Rock Hill, SC (Aug 25, 2010) Acclaimed vocalist, Steve Ladd is scheduled to perform with his brother, Paul Ladd & his sister in law, Melissa Ladd, during The Ladd Family's showcase performance at this year's National Quartet Convention. The Ladd Family have recently found themselves with an opening in their trio & Steve has agreed to fill in with the group for their showcase performance. After NQC, the group plans to travel as a duet until the Lord provides them with a replacement for former group member, Stephanie Jacks-Taylor, says Paul. Among the featured performers will be one of the most popular families in Christian entertainment, The Crabb Family. NASHVILLE, TN (Press Release) The Quicks are proud to announce the birth of their baby granddaughter, Zoe Anne Rich, born to Rachel and Aaron on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 4:30 P.M. EST. Zoe weighed 7 pounds and 14 ounces and was 20 inches long.
“It was wonderful to see Rachel and Aaron with their precious baby girl!” says Grammy Sally Quick. “The family has been through so much in the past year with the loss of their newborn son Braxton last October. Words can’t describe the relief we felt when the call came from the lab that Zoe is perfectly healthy. We see the hand of God every time we look at her! Pappy Tim and I plan to spoil her for a very long time to come!”
